Peeta, the artist name of Manuel Di Rita, is an Italian urban artist internationally known for three-dimensional lettering, geometric compositions and anamorphic murals. Active in graffiti since the early 1990s, his work has evolved from traditional lettering into a distinctive visual language combining painting, sculpture, architecture and optical illusion. Peeta often incorporates windows, corners and structural elements of buildings into his compositions, making walls appear to bend, expand or break apart. His work transforms architecture into an active part of the artwork and represents a striking evolution of contemporary graffiti and urban art.
